Automated deep learning for detection of epithelial basement membrane dystrophy using optical coherence tomography and longitudinal reproducibility of disease characteristics

Epithelial basement membrane dystrophy (EBMD), also known as map dot fingerprint dystrophy (MFD) or Cogan microcystic dystrophy, is a common bilateral dystrophy of the anterior human cornea. The main outcome of this study is to assess if a DLS using anterior segement OCT scans has the capability to distinguish between human corneas and corneas affected by EBMD.
