ERM: Visual acuity and optical coherence tomography one year after Membrane Peeling

Vitrectomy with membrane peeling are the gold-standard in treatment of epiretinal membranes, an ocular disorder leading to metamorphopsia and visual acuity loss. In some cases new intraretinal cystoid changes occur in the postoperative period. For the first months of follow-up these changes are well documented, but to our knowledge one-year follow-up data has not yet been published. The aim of the study is to assess one-year follow-up data, with regard to new intraretinal cystoid changes, from patients having undergone 23G pars plana vitrectomy with membrane peeling at the Hanusch hospital.
